Family Art Project II

In this project, I have focused on the nature of Northern Norway and on how landscapes and natural surroundings can shape one’s sense of identity. The shifting light, the dramatic coastline, and the vast seasonal contrasts all contribute to a deeper understanding of belonging. These environments do not merely frame our lives—they influence our memories, our values, and the stories we pass on. Through the quilts, I explore how these elements of the northern landscape become intertwined with personal and collective identity across generations.
